Indiana High School Football - Wheeler tips Boone Grove

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) and the visiting Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN), observed Wheeler's football squad edge Boone Grove by a count of 22-21.

The Bearcats now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Whiting for a Greater South Shore - South contest on Friday, September 23. Wheeler will encounter a Oilers squad coming off a 14-13 non-league win over River Forest (Hobart, IN). The Oilers record now stands at 2-2.

Coming up next, the Wolves encounter the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 23. Boone Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 47-7 league win over Griffith (Griffith, IN).
