The Briarfield Academy Rebels walloped the host Union Christian Academy Lions football team by a final score of 44-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Briarfield Academy improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Rebels host Deer Creek (Arcola, MS) to confront the Warriors in a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 2 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 23. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 4-0. Deer Creek won 26-16 in their recent non-league outing against Humphreys Academy (Belzoni, MS)

With the loss, Union Christian Academy moves to 0-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Franklin Academy (Winnsboro, LA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league outing on Friday, September 23.
