The Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI) football nudged the host Brimley Bays (Brimley, MI), 18-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Newberry Indians (Newberry, MI) in a Great Lakes - East (8 Man) bout, on Saturday, September 24. Superior Central will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.

The Bays (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cedarville (Cedarville, MI). The Trojans enter the Great Lakes - East (8 Man) bout with a 3-0 record.
