The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) and the host Caddo Bruins (Caddo, OK), observed Velma-Alma's football squad bounce Caddo by a count of 76-36.

The Comets now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Pioneer-Pleasant Vale for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 22. Velma-Alma will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 46-8 non-league loss to Weleetka (Weleetka, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.

Coming up next, the Bruins play the Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 23. Caddo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 58-8 non-league loss to Maud (Maud, OK).
