California High School Football - Casa Grande prevails Montgomery

September 16, 2022: Santa Rosa, CA 95405

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) and the host Montgomery Vikings (Santa Rosa, CA), observed Casa Grande's football squad defeat Montgomery by a count of 44-35.

The Gauchos now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Vintage for a Vine Valley contest on Friday, September 23. Casa Grande will encounter a Crushers squad coming off a 41-0 non-league loss to Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Crushers record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Vikings encounter the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 24. Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 29-12 non-league win over Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA).
