The King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC) football routed the visiting Charleston Collegiate Sundevils (John's Island, SC), 52-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Knights face the Richard Winn Academy Eagles (Winnsboro, SC) in a SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) bout, on Friday, September 23. King Academy will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 60-34 non-league loss to Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill, SC).
The Sundevils (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Faith Christian (Summerville, SC). The Knights enter the SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Faith Christian walloped Newberry Academy (Newberry, SC), 54-0, in a non-league bout.
