In Friday's non-league game, the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) football team were victorious over the visiting Gibbon Buffaloes (Gibbon, NE), by a score of 38-13.

The Longhorns (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE). The Mustangs come into the C2 District 7 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Gordon-Rushville was knocked off by Ord (Ord, NE), 41-20, in a non-league game.

The Buffaloes now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ord for a C2 District 6 game on Friday, September 23. Gibbon will meet a Chanticleers team coming off a 41-20 non-league win over Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE). The Chanticleers record now stands at 3-1.
