In Friday's non-league game, the Christian Heritage Crusaders (Del City, OK) football team knocked off the visiting Mount St. Mary Rockets (Oklahoma City, OK), by a final score of 42-27.
The Crusaders (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Hinton (Hinton, OK). The Comets come into the A District 3 game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Hinton toppled Carnegie (Carnegie, OK), 48-0, in a non-league game.
The Rockets now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Metro Christian for a 3A District 1 game on Friday, September 23. Mount St. Mary will battle a Patriots team coming off a 41-21 non-league win over Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR). The Patriots record now stands at 4-0.
