The Clear Lake Lions football team (Clear Lake, IA), was tipped 31-28 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA)

The Green Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Indians come into the 2A District 3 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Forest City was tipped by Crestwood (Cresco, IA), 36-21, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura for a 2A District 3 challenge on Friday, September 23. Clear Lake will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 35-0 league loss to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-4.
