Alabama High School Football - Munford topples Cleburne County

September 16, 2022: Munford, AL 36268

The Munford Lions (Munford, AL) football defeated the visiting Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL), 42-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Lions face the Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 23. Munford will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 49-15 league win over Hanceville (Hanceville, AL).

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Golden Eagles enter the 4A Region 4 bout with a 3-2 record.
