Texas High School Football - Commerce nips North Lamar

September 16, 2022: Paris, TX 75460

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Commerce Tigers football squad scored a close 34-33 victory over the North Lamar Panthers.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Bonham Warriors (Bonham, TX) in a 3A-1 Region II District 5 match, on Friday, September 23. Commerce will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 68-26 non-league loss to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX).

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Wills Point (Wills Point, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Wills Point was nudged by Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 46-20, in a non-league match.
