The Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) football got by the visiting Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA), 15-14 in Friday's league game.
The Pioneers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fightin' Tigers come into the Central game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Marple Newtown nipped Radnor (Radnor, PA), 32-6, in a league game.
The Fords now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Radnor for a Central game on Friday, September 23. Haverford will meet a Raptors team coming off a 32-6 league loss to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Raptors record now stands at 1-3.
