The Ouachita Parish Lions football team (Monroe, LA), was ripped 63-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR)

The Wampus Cats (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR). The Gryphons come into the 7A Central challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Little Rock Southwest was ripped by Hot Springs (Hot Springs, AR), 61-30, in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Brother Martin for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 23. Ouachita Parish will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 30-16 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-1.
