The De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) football edged the visiting St. Paul's Wolves (Covington, LA), 16-14 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cavalier face the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 23. De La Salle will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 28-22 non-league win over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA).
The Wolves (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tigers enter the 5A District 6 bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Slidell nudged Central (Baton Rouge, LA), 49-0, in a non-league bout.
