The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Des Moines North Polar Bears (Des Moines, IA) and the visiting Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA), observed Des Moines North's football squad defeat Waterloo East by a count of 18-6.

The Polar Bears now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a 5A Group 1 contest on Friday, September 23.

Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA) in a 4A District 2 contest, on Friday, September 23.
