Nevada High School Football - Hug routed by Elko

The Hug Hawks football team (Reno, NV), was ripped 48-8 in Friday's league challenge with the host Elko Indians (Elko, NV)

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Buckaroos come into the 3A Northern - East challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lowry trounced Sparks (Sparks, NV), 47-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Tahoe for a 3A Northern - West challenge on Friday, September 23. Hug will meet a Vikings team coming off a 41-0 non-league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Vikings record now stands at 0-3.
