In Friday's league match, the host Fall Mountain Wildcats football squad scored a close 14-12 victory over the Epping/Newmarket Devils.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH) in a Division III match, on Friday, September 23. Fall Mountain will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 55-0 league loss to Trinity (Manchester, NH).
The Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH). The Knights enter the Division III match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Kingswood was nudged by Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH), 46-28, in a league match.
