The Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen football team (Garland, TX), was beaten 32-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Savoy Cardinals (Savoy, TX)

The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fannindel (Ladonia, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Fannindel was beaten by Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX), 77-47, in a non-league challenge.

The Swordsmen now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Academy for a TAPPS Six-Man Division III District 3 (6 Man) challenge on Friday, September 23. Garland Christian Academy will meet a Lions team coming off a 48-0 league loss to Heritage Christian (Rockwall, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.
