In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Gibsonburg Golden Bears football squad scored a good 44-27 victory over the Northwood Rangers.

In their next game, the Golden Bears clash with the Lakota Raiders (Kansas, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River match, on Friday, September 23. Gibsonburg will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 41-31 non-league loss to Willard (Willard, OH).

The Rangers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Hilltop (West Unity, OH). The Cadets enter the Toledo Area match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Hilltop dropped by Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH), 51-0, in a league match.
