In Friday's league match, the host Hanover-Horton Comets football squad scored a good 24-7 victory over the Grass Lake Warriors.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Napoleon Pirates (Napoleon, MI) in a Cascades bout, on Friday, September 23. Hanover-Horton will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 54-0 non-league win over Springport (Springport, MI).

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Michigan Center (Michigan Center, MI). The Cardinals enter the Cascades bout with a 1-2 record.
