In Friday's league match, the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors football squad scored a good 26-13 victory over the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 23. Wyoming Area will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Hawkeyes enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 40-12 non-league loss to Pittston (Pittston, PA).
The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Lake-Lehman thwarted Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 22-20, in a league match.
