The Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA) football nudged the host South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA), 38-35 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Tornadoes clash with the Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) in a 5A District 6 bout, on Friday, September 23. Hammond will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, LA).
The Gators (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Tarpons enter the 4A District 7 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, South Lafourche was nudged by Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA), 26-19, in a non-league bout.
