The Hedgesville Eagles football team (Hedgesville, WV), was beaten 49-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV)

The Mohigans (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Musselman achieved victory over Sherando (Stephens City, VA), 30-26, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martinsburg for a Eastern Panhandle challenge on Friday, September 23. Hedgesville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-3 non-league loss to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
