The Henninger Black Knights football team (Syracuse, NY), was tipped 21-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY)

The Black Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Proctor (Utica, NY). The Raiders come into the Section 3 AA challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Proctor nipped Whitesboro (Marcy, NY), 62-60, in a non-league challenge.

The Black Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian Brothers Academy for a Section 3 AA challenge on Friday, September 23. Henninger will meet a Brothers team coming off a 42-41 league win over Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 3-0.
