The Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) football routed the host South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC), 43-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC) in a 4A East Conference 30 bout, on Friday, September 30. Hillside will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 28-27 non-league loss to Vance County (Henderson, NC).
