The Hoggard Vikings walloped the host West Brunswick Trojans football team by a count of 49-7 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Hoggard upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Vikings host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to confront the Pirates in a 3A/4A East Conference 20 outing on Friday, September 23. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Topsail won 36-34 in their recent league outing against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)

With the loss, West Brunswick moves to 0-4 on the season. The Trojans host Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to confront the Screaming Eagle in a 3A/4A East Conference 20 outing on Friday, September 23. The Screaming Eagle go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Ashley lost 56-21 in their recent league outing against Laney (Wilmington, NC)
