    The Holcomb Longhorns thwarted the visiting Ulysses Tigers football team by a count of 28-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

    With the win, Holcomb upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Longhorns host Goodland (Goodland, KS) to encounter the Cowboys in a non-league outing on Friday, September 23. The Cowboys go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Goodland lost 45-20 in their recent non-league outing against Lakin (Lakin, KS)

    With the loss, Ulysses moves to 1-2 on the season. The Tigers host Chanute (Chanute, KS) to encounter the Blue Comets in a non-league outing on Friday, September 23. The Blue Comets go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Chanute won 41-17 in their recent non-league outing against Tonganoxie (Tonganoxie, KS)
