Iowa High School Football - Perry tips Hoover

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) and the visiting Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA), observed Perry's football squad edge Hoover by a count of 27-21.

The Bluejays now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Indianola for a 4A District 5 contest on Friday, September 23. Perry will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 34-16 non-league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Indians record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Huskies encounter the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) in a 4A District 6 contest, on Friday, September 23. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 49-14 non-league loss to Harlan (Harlan, IA).
