In Friday's league match, the visiting Kapolei Hurricanes football squad scored a good 42-17 victory over the Moanalua Menehunes.
In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the Kahuku Red Raiders (Kahuku, HI) in a OIA Open match, on Friday, September 23. Kapolei will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Red Raiders enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 34-7 non-league loss to St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA).
The Menehunes (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Campbell (Ewa Beach, HI). The Sabers enter the OIA Open match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Campbell dropped by Kahuku (Kahuku, HI), 16-6, in a league match.
