The crowd at Friday's league contest between the La Veta Redhawks (La Veta, CO) and the visiting Primero Bulldogs (Weston, CO), observed La Veta's football squad defeat Primero by a count of 71-40.

The Redhawks now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Otis for a non-league contest on Friday, September 23. La Veta will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-26 league win over Idalia (Idalia, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Branson/Kim Bearcats (Branson, CO) in a A-6 League 5 (6 Man) contest, on Saturday, October 1. Primero will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
