North Carolina High School Football - Lake Norman Charter smashes Union Academy

The Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) football routed the host Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), 32-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Knights face the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 23. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 42-21 non-league win over Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC).

The Cardinals (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers enter the 1A/2A West Conference 35 bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Mount Pleasant walloped Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 30-9, in a non-league bout.
