The Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) football defeated the visiting William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA), 22-8 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Chargers face the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a James River bout, on Friday, September 23. Lunenburg Central will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Statesmen enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 47-12 non-league win over Surry County (Dendron, VA).
The Generals (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Colonels enter the Dogwood bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Altavista lost by Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 35-7, in a non-league bout.
