The Mangum Tigers thwarted the visiting Sayre Eagles football team by a count of 49-30 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Mangum upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Apache (Apache, OK) to encounter the Warriors in a A District 2 outing on Friday, September 23. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Apache lost 41-8 in their recent non-league outing against Ringling (Ringling, OK)

With the loss, Sayre moves to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles host Thomas-Fay-Custer (Thomas, OK) to encounter the Terriers in a A District 1 outing on Friday, September 23. The Terriers go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Thomas-Fay-Custer lost 36-14 in their recent non-league outing against Cashion (Cashion, OK)
