The Rocky Ford Meloneers football team (Rocky Ford, CO), was ripped 46-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO)

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Prospect Ridge Academy trounced Timnath (Timnath, CO), 21-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Meloneers now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colorado Springs Christian for a 1A League 3 challenge on Saturday, October 1.
