Maine High School Football - Maranacook crushed by Mountain Valley

Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they saw their football team smash the host Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME), 36-0 in a league challenge.
The Falcons (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME). The Seagulls come into the 8-Man Small South (8 Man) challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Old Orchard Beach trounced Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME), 46-13, in a league challenge.
The Black Bears now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Telstar for a 8-Man Small South (8 Man) challenge on Saturday, September 24. Maranacook will meet a Rebels team coming off a 35-6 league win over Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
