The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) and the visiting Maumee Panthers (Maumee, OH), observed Northview's football squad edge Maumee by a count of 31-28.

The Wildcats now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Springfield for a Northern Lakes contest on Friday, September 23. Northview will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 28-20 league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-5.

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) in a Northern Lakes contest, on Friday, September 23. Maumee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 42-7 league loss to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH).
