The Tecumseh Savages topped the visiting McLoud Redskins football team by a final score of 40-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Tecumseh improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Savages host Newcastle (Newcastle, OK) to confront the Racers in a 4A District 2 outing on Friday, September 23. The Racers go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Newcastle won 34-12 in their recent non-league outing against Woodward (Woodward, OK)

With the loss, McLoud moves to 2-1 on the season. The Redskins travel to North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK) to confront the in a 3A District 1 outing on Friday, September 23. The go into the outing with a record of 1-2. North Rock Creek lost 28-13 in their recent non-league outing against Holdenville (Holdenville, OK)
