    The Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers topped the visiting Medford Cardinals football team by a final score of 48-24 in Friday's non-league outing.

    With the win, Pond Creek-Hunter improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Waukomis (Waukomis, OK) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 23. The Chiefs go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Waukomis won 62-14 in their recent non-league battle against Kremlin-Hillsdale (Kremlin, OK)

    Coming up next, the Cardinals face the Sharon-Mutual/Taloga (Mutual, OK) in a C District 1 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, September 23. Medford will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 62-14 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, OK).
