Texas High School Football - Milano overwhelms Meridian

September 16, 2022: Milano, TX 76556

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Milano Eagles (Milano, TX) and the visiting Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX), observed Milano's football squad bounce Meridian by a count of 53-6.

The Eagles now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cypress Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, September 23. Milano will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 49-7 non-league win over Northland Christian (Houston, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Mart Panthers (Mart, TX) in a 2A-2 Region III District 10 contest, on Friday, September 23. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 21-20 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, TX).
