Maryland High School Football - Oakdale topples Middletown

The Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) football defeated the host Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD), 42-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the face the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) in a Central Maryland bout, on Friday, September 23. Oakdale will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Lancers enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 24-21 league win over Walkersville (Walkersville, MD).

The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Boonsboro lost by Brunswick (Brunswick, MD), 27-7, in a non-league bout.
