North Carolina High School Football - Sun Valley routed by Monroe

The Sun Valley Spartans football team (Monroe, NC), was ripped 55-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC)

The Redhawks (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Porter Ridge was ripped by Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC), 24-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cuthbertson for a 4A West Conference 58 challenge on Friday, September 30. Sun Valley will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 29-28 non-league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
