The Muhlenberg County football team (Greenville, KY), was beaten 35-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY)

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Owensboro (Owensboro, KY). The Red Devils come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Owensboro achieved victory over Breckinridge County (Harned, KY), 58-8, in a league challenge.

The now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grayson County for a 5A District 1 challenge on Friday, September 23. Muhlenberg County will meet a Cougars team coming off a 33-0 league loss to Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.
