Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they saw their football team top the visiting Valley Patriots (Turkey, TX), 40-24 in a non-league game.
The Swifts (4-0) will now prepare for their game against O'Donnell (O'Donnell, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, O'Donnell knocked off Lubbock Titans (Lubbock, TX), 54-6, in a non-league game.
The Patriots now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Petersburg for a non-league game on Friday, September 23. Valley will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 40-34 non-league loss to Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-2.
