Nebraska High School Football - Riverside gets by Nebraska Christian

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverside Chargers (Cedar Rapids, NE) and the visiting Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE), observed Riverside's football squad edge Nebraska Christian by a tally of 19-13.

The Chargers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arcadia/Loup City for a D1 District 7 (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 23. Riverside will play a Rebels squad coming off a 56-13 non-league loss to Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE). The Rebels record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Pleasanton Bulldogs (Pleasanton, NE) in a D1 District 7 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 23. Nebraska Christian will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 64-34 league loss to Ravenna (Ravenna, NE).
