In Friday's non-league game, the Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) football team smashed the visiting Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS), by a score of 46-13.

The Thunder (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Horton (Horton, KS). The Chargers come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Horton was ripped by Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS), 34-20, in a non-league game.

The Kaws now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holton for a non-league game on Friday, September 23. Perry-Lecompton will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-7 non-league win over Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
