In Friday's league game, the Newman Catholic Knights (Mason City, IA) football team tipped the visiting St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA), by a score of 45-43.
The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their game against North Butler (Greene, IA). The Bearcats come into the A District 2 game with a 3-0 record.
The Saints now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Union for a A District 2 game on Friday, September 23.
