In Friday's league game, the Sharkey Issaquena Academy Confederates (Rolling Fork, MS) football team smashed the host Northeast Baptist Knights (West Monroe, LA), by a score of 84-0.
The Confederates (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA). The Rebels come into the MAIS 8-Man 1A District 2 (8 Man) game with a 1-4 record.
The Knights now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverdale Academy for a non-league game on Friday, September 23. Northeast Baptist will battle a Rebels team coming off a 14-12 league win over Tensas Academy (St. Joseph, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-1.
