Ohio High School Football - Valley drops to Northwest

In Friday's non-league game, the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) football team knocked off the host Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), by a final score of 37-22.
The Mohawks (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Tuslaw (Massillon, OH). The Mustangs come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Tuslaw was dropped by Triway (Wooster, OH), 44-14, in a league game.
The Indians now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Hill for a Southern Ohio II challenge on Friday, September 23. Valley will meet a Oaks team coming off a 32-13 non-league loss to Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Oaks record now stands at 1-4.
