The Pickens County Tornadoes topped the host South Lamar Stallions football team by a count of 36-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Pickens County upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Tornadoes host Gordo (Gordo, AL) to confront the Green Wave in a non-league outing on Friday, September 23. The Green Wave go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Gordo won 49-0 in their recent league outing against Tarrant (Birmingham, AL)

With the loss, South Lamar moves to 3-2 on the season. The Stallions travel to Sulligent (Sulligent, AL) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Friday, September 23. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Sulligent lost 54-28 in their recent league outing against Aliceville (Aliceville, AL)
