    • Texas High School Football - Pioneer trounces Valley View

    September 16, 2022: Pharr, TX 78577

    In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Pioneer Diamondbacks football squad scored a big 49-6 victory over the Valley View Tigers.

    In their next game, the Diamondbacks clash with the Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 23. Pioneer will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 65-34 non-league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, TX).

    The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX). The Wolverines enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial routed Donna North (Donna, TX), 42-7, in a non-league match.
